Lynzee had 14 lymph nodes removed (axillary dissection) on her left underarm last week.   She is really doing well.  She has a drain for 2 weeks.  

Her pathology report came back today.   All the lymph nodes are CANCER FREE!! The Dr. says she is responding well to treatment!   Prayers answered!   We all feel a huge weight lift off our shoulders. 

Currently she is still working with staff at Mayo to get the Proton Beam Radiation approved by her insurance.  We anticipate radiation to begin the end of August.  We understand this radiation will be 5 days a week for 5 weeks.  As the twins are starting Kindergarten this August - it isn't the best time for mommy to be away so much.   But we keep telling ourselves this has to be done to complete her fight against the cancer. 

Prayers answered and Lynzee's determination and good health prior to the diagnosis are helping the doctors who are treating her.
