The snow and ice has made it impossible for Anna and Dad to get out and visit with Mom.  So updates have been challenging. But today, Dad got a very positive call! The physical therapist said Mom is working hard and making progress. She is now ambulating with a walker, and has a target discharge date of Monday the 22nd! She is still a little unstable at times, but they hope to have her getting around independently before coming home. Dad is scheduled to go there Monday to get some training and hopefully bring her home!  ❤️🙏❤️

She did develop a sinus infection and is back on an antibiotic again, but says she is feeling better. She still gets winded easily having extended conversations, so calls are usually short. We do not have details on an updated status of her lungs or oxygen use, but hopefully we will get more details Monday.  They will order home health to come in three times a week to continue her therapy at home.  👏

We are thrilled with the progress she is making and care she is receiving! But we sure are ready to get her home. Thank you all for the continued love, prayers, and support.  We feel so grateful and blessed to be surrounded by so many friends and family! One of my all time favorite verses is below. I hope it brings some comfort to everyone during these challenging times. 🙏
