Lynn’s Story

Site created on January 9, 2024

If you've tuned in here it is because you are somehow caring about my story, and for this I thank you. It is a comfort and an honor to have you here.

I have had mild oral cancering happening for about 10 years which I have kept at bay with nutrition, alternative medicine and mindfulness practices.  Last year, in a strict, what I thought would be, "last hurrah attempt" to starve out the cancering for good, I embarked on a 6 month candida cleanse which I did so well that the cancer morphed to save itself, as cancer does, and quickly advanced instead into a moderate stage last summer.   I then shifted my healing protocol to meet the change,(including the use of a Rife Frequency Machine and many other modalities) and worked diligently for the remainder of the year. Western medicine testing revealed a believed to be malignant growth in my jaw I was not previously aware of.

The cancering remains strong and now highly aggressive in its determination to cause a complete deterioration in the way my body has functioned in the past.

Now, on the eve of the new year I again am shifting my healing protocol to yet a deeper level.  Because of the area physically affected, things could get very quickly "messy" from here.  My choice, and I do thank God for that luxury, is to surrender into the "what is", find the blessing and commence in dignity for myself and my loved ones.

I am choosing to voluntarily stop eating and drinking (apparently called VSED) to assist my deathing in the month of February.  This process has turned out to be in perfect alignment with the deep spiritual path in my life. It is an ancient practice, called in our modern times, social conscious deathing and intimately connected with my birthing process, which successfully executed, in Love and not fear, will complete me as a human being, a natural cycle of universal harmony we all have have potential for, paving the way for our species to make the shift it needs into their next developmental stage of enlightenment.

With Love - Lynn

More logistical information from Lisa -

Hello All and welcome to Lynn's health journey site. Please read Lynn's story for full details of her  health situation before reading these journal entries. As her cancer news may be new to some of you, Lynn has been experiencing a bit of overload with calls, texts, and emails about friends wanting to get together. And while being extremely thankful for this outreach for connection, she is a bit overwhelmed. I am Lisa, Lynn's sister, and we have worked together to develop this website with the intention of assisting Lynn's friends and community with their process of concern, emotion, and/or grief around her cancer.  This website was put together to streamline information regarding Lynn's journey in one easily accessible platform.
Lynn's gratitude is beyond words for the outreach of love she has received; however, it would be impossible to individually answer everyone's calls and texts at this time.

First and foremost, Lynn needs to be centered, focused, and quiet in order to be best prepared for the road ahead of her. This is a very intimate spiritual time for her, and asks that any and all contact go through me, her sister Lisa at 970-844-0076. Calls or texts are fine. And if snail mail is best, Lynn and Carlos's address is PO Box 927, Carbondale CO 81623.

How can you help? "Help" changes on a daily basis. Ongoing journal entries will keep you posted on ways to help in the weeks to come.

Can you get together with Lynn? Currently, Lynn will be holding bi-weekly silent meditations at her home in Glenwood until the end of January, which you can join in person (space is limited) or in the comfort of your own home. If you are interested in attending, please see the next journal entry on this site for details. After January, her social contact will be limited to close family and friends.

With love and gratitude - Blessed be...

Journal entry by lisa ruoff

As surreal as it may seem, it's all over. I feel like I'm still immersed in a very long, crazy dream.
A few people have asked about Lynn's ashes. As of this Spring, when the snow melts, her remains will be buried under a tree by the creek at Erickson Springs. She loved this place, up over McClure Pass. It's a remote and beautiful Colorado landscape. The perfect place for her!
With huge gratitude to all for sharing in this journey...
