Well the time has come!! We're breaking dad out of hospital jail! :D He's got the clear to get discharged tomorrow (Friday) so he's super excited about that. The he got the tubes out today so that's helped let him have some more mobility and breathing is easier. Still in some pain but that's expected. The surgeon has said everything went well and looks great! Now we head into the recovery period. Lots of things he won't be able to do but we're all just glad everything went well.
