Hey Everyone,

I realize it’s been a while, but wanted to give everyone an update on how the remission phase has gone so far.

There was small spot in her throat that was being watched. The good news is that a PET scan last week confirmed the spot was now gone. The bad news is that a case of Thrush had popped up in the meantime due to the weakened immune system. The antibiotics have helped a lot, and the thrush is dying down now. Combine that with winning a $50 gift card in a raffle on Saturday and winter accessories at bingo on Sunday and it’s been mostly good news all around!
