Hello all friends and family of Luther Ulrich (Lute)

As most of you know that Luther was diagnosed a few years ago with a brain disease called PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy which is fatal and there is no cure. It is a terrible disease that is robbing him of his balance, speech, and sometimes his ability to think clearly.  Luther and I got married a few years ago and we have been together for over 4 years.  His journey is a daily struggle and it breaks my heart to see him go through this.  He still has a good sense of humor which does help him get through most days.  I will try to keep this site updated at least every week but sometimes that is hard to do because I don't have a lot of time to myself these days.  If anyone has any questions or would like to contact Lute, let me know at 608-797-0145.  He really needs visitors and friends to keep his spirits up.  Even a card helps him to realize that there are people out there that still remember him and care about him and want to send their prayers.  His faith in God helps him to stay positive but somedays, as with anyone, our faith can be challenged!  I will keep him as active as I can and my promise at this point in his life is to try to make him laugh at least twice a day.  Kind of like the other day, we like to go to matinee's on Tuesdays, so when we got there I was transferring him from his wheelchair to the recliners at the theater.  He didn't realize that he had his thumb on the control that brought the legs up so when this happened, both of our legs came up and he ended up on top of me.  People in the the Theater thought we were crazy because we just started to laugh, wasn't sure what else to do.  It was pretty funny!!!! So far, so good!!  Thank you for your prayers.  Please let Lute know that you are all out there praying for him and wishing him the best.  Thank you!
