Journal entry by Tanja Gift —
We are going on month 6, half a year, time is an amazing thing. Luke is doing great, he had some epic scarring on the right arm, from the grafts healing. He now gets Laser therapy, to remodel the collagen and reduce the scar tissue. What you see in the picture is from today .
Luke has been busy woth physical therapy, he did well, now he is done with that, guess someone figured it is rather expensive, he could go to a gym for a fraction of the cost lmao...
He still has issues sleeping, due to dryness, itching, and whatever else,... he snores loud as well, lol ...mentally he is ok, he ponders a lot about what really happened, still has his down moments, not easy for him to be like he used to be, there are restrictions and things that just are not the same, as a lineman or other blue collar job guy, hands on, stubborn as hell, it is hard to step back and realize this.
Well, that is all for now , thank you all for your emotional support, interest, and kind words.
