Hello everyone!

We are thrilled to update you all that Luke has been doing great the past several months!  He is healthy in body and spirit.  He continues to be joyful, silly, sweet and strong and he loves his brother, sister & friends.  Luke's follow-up appointments have all gone well, and he has completed his antifungal treatment.  We have made progress in his diabetes care and management, but we still have a long road ahead of us and much to learn.  God is giving us help each step of the way and providing us with the needed energy and endurance to keep moving forward.  Luke shows us daily how tough the Lord made him!  

Luke turned 5 years old on January 2nd! Oh God, we thank You for the gift of 5 years! This was a very special day for us, remembering that it's God's kindness, power, and mercy that allowed us to celebrate.  Luke loved celebrating and opening presents, ha.  We look forward to seeing how the Lord grows Luke this year.  We pray that as Luke grows he will understand the words of Jesus more and more when he said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." (Matthew 22:37)
