Welcome to Luke's Journey to Recovery! Thursday evening, January 4th, 2024,  Luke along with his two dogs Gilbert & Eloise were involved in a serious car accident. The jaws of life were used to extract Luke from his vehicle. He was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo ND. Upon arrival doctors confirmed he suffered from a C5 and C6 cervical fracture along with a broken nose. Luke will have a very long road to recovery. He will be in the hospital for an extended period of time. There are a lot of unknowns at this time as they are managing his nerve pain and function due to Central Cord Syndrome. Unfortunately the amount of strength and mobility in his extremities are unknown at this time. Gilbert and Eloise are at home and feeling better every day! Please keep Luke's wife Mary, son Jack and daughter Maggie in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this difficult journey.
