There is NO place like home.🏠❤With a recovering and happy, perfect baby boy💙💙💙🙌🙌🙌
Hello my wonderful friends, family, and prayer warriors🙏❤. Firstly, I apologize I didn't give much of an update yesterday, except for the possibility of home and then the GREAT word we were going home. It was a busy day and whirlwind of emotions. It all depended on Luka's echocardiogram findings and blood levels of the lovenox injections being right. To say we were terrified is an understatement, we knew one side of his arteries was severely dialtaed and one was more mild, from the second echo results. They didn't anticipate much change and there was much possibility of it getting even worse. ☹We went through practicing giving his shots and waited nervously for his results. The blood level came back slightly subpar so we were told home Saturday, still pending the echo findings. Rog and I finally gave in to getting out for a little bit and getting some fresh air. It helped to get our mind off of the echocardiogram and it really was nice♡ We had Japanese ramen(my first experience and it did NOT disappoint😋), went to a store called Bigwheels and Butterflies and got our growing Bean some clothes, and got a basket and filled with chocolate goodies for our wonderful nurses at Omaha Childrens❤. About 15 minutes after we got back, our resident Dr came to us with the news we hoped and prayed for. Not only did Luka's echocardiogram show significant improvement, but it was so much better that the lovenox was discontinued completely!! We were shocked, overjoyed and soooo grateful. And told yes, we can go home now!!😁 GOD IS SO GOOD YOU GUYS❤🙏 All your many prayers came through and with such power that Bean's heart made a huge improvement and even surprised the cardiologist and doctors!! We are so blessed and cannot thank you all enough!! For the thoughts and prayers and donations and LOVE for our little Luka. He is one loved and happy baby bean💙
Moving forward, Luka will see a cardiologist in about a week and make sure his heart still looks good and is continuing to improve. He will likely have other follow ups with cardiology as well throughout his childhood but his outlook is good! Our God is an awesome God💙💙💙
I'd like to close with just a few words of wisdom and advice. Do NOT sweat the small stuff. You need to save it for big stuff. Do not be afraid to ask for help...There are sooo many wonderful people out there♡ And always be kind. Life really is very short and love is ALWAYS the answer. Always.❤
