Journal entry by Lucy Hallman

When 54 soon to be turning 55 and you have just received an extremely serious medical diagnosis there are only a few ways to move forward. Andrew and I, while being utterly shocked and devastated, chose to take the bull by horns and fight as hard as we could. What has kept us strong and moving full steam ahead, besides our mighty village, has been our ability to have fun along the way. So off we went on our wig buying excursion on Tuesday. Several of you wanted to see Andrew in a wig to which I knew I would hear a hell no from him so I was not even going to try. After the owner fitted me with one incredibly close to the haircut Kat had given me just prior to losing my hair, she disappeared into the back room. I assumed she was giving us a moment to see what we thought. Nope. Of course not knowing that you all wanted to see him in one or that Bon Jovi is a heartthrob of mine, which Andrew now knows after seeing me practically drool at his concert, she emerged from behind and popped one on his head! We both burst out laughing! So, as promised a picture for you. The next one will be after the ever amazing Kat tweaks mine for me. Hopefully this puts a smile on your face like the one we get hearing from all of you!😘
