Loyd’s Story

Thank you for taking the time to checkin on Loyd. He's got that Irish and Norwegian fight in him so we hope for the best outcome. We will be posting updates here as we have them for family and friends. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement!

Loyd has Stage 4 Prostate Cancer that spread to his stomach, lungs, bones, sternum, and lymph nodes. It's not curable, but the treatment plan is to try to slow the spread with medications and start radiation to shrink a found mass.

Loyd has been in the hospital since last week. Wasn’t feeling well and wasn’t getting better. Had a UTI and blood infection which they’re trying to treat. Antibiotics weren’t agreeing with him and didn’t have the best day yesterday. He’s doing better now and slated to go home today. He also is getting his ports removed. As always feel free to reach out to him via Facebook or give him a call. I’m sure he’d appreciate it.


PS - it’s his birthday Monday!
