Newest Update

Journal entry by Erica Judd

33 and.........CANCER FREE!!!! 🙌🏻🥳💜

Zach has received very exciting results from his recent PET scan. Zach's oncologist and lymphoma specialist have reported that his results are conclusive with him being in REMISSION!!!

These last few weeks have been spent taking our time to absorb this fantastic news. It feels like forever that we have been hoping and praying for this. There is no doubt that it has been a long and hard battle getting to this point. Now that we are here, we are given the opportunity to find joy, excitement, life, and purpose again.

Since this news we have been overjoyed and excited by what life has given us.  Every moment is filled with gratitude and a new found perspective.

We have been able to celebrate another year around the sun for Zach and other May babies. We're so grateful to live close by our best friends  in welcoming their beautiful baby girl, Isla Jean Braun! We are doing our best to find safe activities to keep us busy and active, like long walks and biking. We are also having fun planning upcoming road trips, and visits from our loved ones. First on the list, Yellowstone and Teton National Parks...here we come!!!

Of course, along with all this wonderful news comes reality. Zach is only 72 days out from his transplant. His immune system is still extremely fragile. We have to tread with caution and prepare for this being the case for the next 6-12 months.

We could not be more grateful for all the medical advancements that got Zach to this point. These medical treatments come with a lot of side effects, which will also take time for Zach to overcome. Forever thankful Zach has KICKED CANCER'S A$$, while knowing the fight continues on for now. 💪🏻

Zach will have immunotherapy infusions every 6 weeks for one year, as a part of his maintenance plan. Along with full labwork every 6 weeks, cardiac follow-up, restarting immunizations, scans and other testing only as needed.

From both Zach and I, we want to thank each and every one of you. We continuously are reminded that we could not have gotten to this point without all of our Seymour Soldiers. Thank you for sticking by our sides for the last year and many more to come. This continued experience and you all will forever hold a special place in our hearts. THANK YOU🙏🏻🥰🫂💜

Much love and appreciation to you all,
Zach and Erica Seymour 💛💛💛
