On Tuesday February 7th at 1:58pm PST our beloved Dr. Michael “Iggy” Loewy passed away. He died peacefully and without pain with his husband Nat and his friends Brandi and Lauren by his side. We know this is devastating news for all who loved him. In the days leading up to his death all of your posts from this Caring Bridge site and many text message well wishes were read to him.  Music was played to ease his transition and the last song he heard was Nina Simone’s “My Baby Just Cares For Me.”

In honor of Iggy, please call someone you love and tell them you love them and why you do. He would really like that. More info to come as celebrations of his life and legacy come together.
