Rebekkah’s Story

Site created on March 2, 2023

If you know Rebekkah, you can not forget her wonderful smile and laughter. She loves the Lord and has a big heart for everyone. She is a mom who has two sons, Lee and Jude, and they live in St.Paul.

What you may not know about her is that she has battled sickness on and off for many years.

Rebekkah’s journey started in 2015 when she found out she had breast cancer and she immediately started all the common recommended treatments. Unfortunately after chemo, radiation, double mastectomy and her lymph nodes removed, the cancer keeps coming back and now has metastasized. In 2023 Anna, Angie and Vanessa started a fundraiser so that Bekkah could get the care she desires and cover her expenses. Many have come alongside Rebekkah to help her.  Her spiritual family will continue to help her navigate all these logistics going forward.

Keep reading to find out more about her journey. If you’d like to donate toward her medical costs, please visit givesendgo.com/loveforrebekkah

Journal entry by Rebekkah Guider

Hello!

Rebekkah is home and out of the hospital!

PLEASE no visitors. She needs rest and time with her boys. She will let you know when a good time is. You can send cards via mail. Email us for her address: loveforrebekkah@gmail.com
Also, keep in mind she doesn't have time to respond to EVERYONE. There are many people that love and care for Bekkah and right now what she needs is rest. Thank You

Re-cap of last week: (sorry the delay)
Two weeks ago Bekkah's 2nd surgery was successful but after returning home she had some complications. She then returned back to the hospital on June 3 and had more procedures to get her ready to be at home. Friday she came home. This has been hard on her.  Please keep praying for her! Healing for her body and for her spirits to be lifted!

Due to all of the hospital stays, Hope 4 Cancer has not been able to set a date for Bekkah. Praying she is stable to go! Bekkah really wants to go!

Please be praying for whats next! Bekkah is stable and in overall good health. She is now able to get the nutrition she needs to continue healing. She is still battling the cancer and has had some set backs but she is up walking around, talking, and enjoying the days she has.

Praise God his mercies are new every day!
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
