Baby Louise’s Story

Site created on February 13, 2021

Welcome to our CaringBridge site for Baby Louise! We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support as we welcome her into this world , so here is where you’ll find all the latest news and updates.

Louise was diagnosed with 1p36 deletion syndrome, a very rare genetic syndrome that results in many physical and mental challenges. We are praying for healing for Louise but know that God will not waste anything and that every challenge will be an opportunity to glorify Him.

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement as we walk through this journey. Though the news may be scary, our faith in Christ is unshakable!

Journal entry by Judy Senter Canon

Hello Louise lovers (and we’ll always be Louise Lovers). This is Gram and like all of you, my heart is broken. This is a difficult time with emotions running all over the place. We cry, we laugh, we remember, but we always love.  As we prepare for Louise’s Celebration we have been asked many questions, so I’ll try and give that information here.

We'll be celebrating her life on Monday, February 5th, at 10am at The Hills Church Richland Hills campus. We'd love more than anything to see you all there, but if you're unable to make it, the livestream link below will become active around 9:45am on the 5th. Everyone is welcome and your presence would be so special to Randal and Katie.

Celebration Service Online Stream Update - 2-21-2024:
Her Celebration of Life was recorded on February 5th, 2024 and can be watched on YouTube with the link below. Feel free to share this with anyone:

Many have expressed a desire to help the family. Here’s the link to the Annie Louise Foundation that Katie is a big part of:

Donations will go in Louise’s name to Randal and Katie,  and any beyond their needs will go into this wonderful foundation to help children and families like ours.

In lieu of cut flowers, they would love to receive “Texas” hearty plants that could go into “Louise’s Garden “ at their house.  Katie’s mom had a beautiful sign made before for a section for Louise, so that would be perfect and would last. They can remember those who loved her every time they tend to her garden.

Louise loved to dress up so everyone dress up for Louise and if you have blue wear it to match her eyes❤️

We love you all so very much and appreciate how well you have loved Louise, Katie, and Randal.

Love,

Gram (Judy Canon)
