Louise’s Story

Site created on April 29, 2022

On Monday April 18th, 2022, Louise was Life-Flighted to St. Mary's in Rochester MN all anyone knew was she was a very sick woman.  She spent 8 days in the ICU where the doctors worked for days trying to save her life as one problem after another arouse.  Louise was extremely constipated, and her colon wasn't working properly.  Her Kidneys stopped working, her BP was dangerously low as what her oxygen too.  She has had several rounds of dialysis and her kidneys have since started outputting again.  She has needed several rounds of blood as well as lots of antibiotics.  On day 9 she was stable enough to be moved out of the ICU where it was discovered that she was in Septic Shock the last two weeks.  Louise is out of the ICU but she is still very ill and has a very long road ahead of her.  She is very weak and still has some issues that needs attention. Please keep Louise in your payers while she heals from this illness.

Hello Friends 😃

I know it's been a while.  Summer is here, which means everyone is busy busy busy enjoying the 6 weeks we get 😂

Louise is HOME, praise the lord.  🙏 🙌   I know in my last update they were saying 4 to 6 weeks but in Louise style, she said NO WAY, I am going home sooner and she sure did.  That's my little coffin dodger for ya.  😎

She was home for a day, and ended up going back for nausea and pain and spent a couple more days.  As of June 22nd she has been home and getting stronger everyday.  😍

She goes back today to have drains checked and an overall checkup to see her progress of healing.

Please pray for progress of healing and infection draining.

Thank you everyone for the prayers, love and support during this difficult time.

My updates won't be as often but I will keep you all posted on her healing.
