Hi everyone,
We thought we would do a post to just let you know that Lothar is doing well and he continues to get stronger. I've been in Sacramento for the past 6 days visiting and it's been wonderful. ( No hospital!) After another brief hospital stay a couple of weeks ago for some edema and heart issues, Lothar is back home and receiving home health care as well physical therapy. For the most part, he's moved on from a wheelchair and back to his walker. He's got a fantastic neurologist for the Hoshimoto Encephalopathy and she's referred him to an endocrinologist as well. He's still being closely monitored by his cardiologist. Jeanne continues to take fabulous care of Lothar managing his meds, appointments etc. Lothar and Jeanne are surrounded by a very kind and supportive community here at Revel Folsom where they live. And of course all their friends local and afar. As well as their family. 
Lothar continues to inspire us with his strength determination, humor and gusto for life. 88 is right around the corner. ( Dec 8) Bring it on!
