Journal entry by Jennifer Marquis

Yesterday my friend Lori was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Though they have insurance, the 80/20 payout along with missed work for her husband will definitely take a toll on them.  She will have treatment and surgeries to fight this battle. I’m asking for help to ease their mind a bit during this time. Lori and her husband Keefe are the most giving people I know. For her birthday every year she doesn’t accept gifts for herself, she asks for donations so she can go to our local grocery store and surprise pay for people’s groceries. Every single year prayer goes in to who to help and every single year she is directed by God who is helped. I personally have been a part of this and I can guarantee that the ones who she is directed to are blessed. Lori is beautiful inside and out. To know her is to instantly love her. She has an infectious smile and laugh (lets not fail to add she’s the first one to tell you like it is) She loves as fiercely as she will fight this thing! Please share this. Pray about donating and above all, PRAY!!!!
