Lori is not in too much pain and is feeling pretty good considering all that is going on. We had an appointment with the oncologist today. We went over Lori's resent scans. It was a tough appointment and mostly bad news. The scans show quite a few new spots in her bones as well as her lungs. She is having a tough time talking and is short of breath from these new spots. There is a standard of care option we haven't tried yet but hope to qualify for a trial. The Dr wishes she had many more options, but we have gone through most of them already. We are waiting to hear back from Mayo to see if there are any trials she could try. If there is not a trial, she will start the standard care option soon.
