Journal entry by Kyle koerselman —
It's been a while since the last update. We have been in some limbo. The last scan Lori had showed some improvement in tumor size in her hips and liver. A spot we have been watching on her mid back did get a little bigger. The scan also showed a spot on her lung and a lymph node around that spot on the mid back that needed a biopsy. The biopsy came back negative on the lung, but the lymph node has cancer. She has hit the limit on the harsh chemo she was on and is continuing the 2 other treatments she has been on. We do not know yet how the new spots will affect her treatment plan. She has a mixture of breast cancer varieties right now. There may be a trial or a different standard of care available, or she might stay on the current treatment. Lori is staying positive and is starting to feel a little better after the harsh chemo stopped.
