Journal entry by Sherri Mullery

Today, is Lori's last chemo infusion.  They will not be able to give her anymore chemo after today.  She will have a scan this coming week and then next Friday we will meet with her oncologist for next steps.  We are hopeful that they will give here immunotherapy.  This treatment will help to keep her stronger by building her immune system.  These last few weeks Lori has been very tired and weak.   She doesn't leave the house very much and her stomach hurts her most of the time.   She does have medications to help with the side effects of the chemo and her pain.

Lori just loves getting cards, treats, flowers, etc.  and talking to people by phone or text.  She also loves visitors and I recommend if you would like to visit her that you contact her in advance to see how she is feeling.

Please keep Lori in your thoughts and prayers.
