Lori’s Story

Site created on January 26, 2020

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

I found a small lump the week of November 16 and thought it was related to breastfeeding. After seeing three doctors and specialists, I had an ultrasound and mammogram then biopsy. By December 26th I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. I will undergo 16 weeks of chemo, elective double mastectomy with reconstruction, then radiation. 2020 is a new decade, a new journey, and one hell of a fight ahead.

We are continually reminded of the love and support of our friends and family throughout this time. We aren’t losing our sense of hope, fun, and adventure. We will find the good in every day and most importantly. The laughter. Love you all,

Lori and the Harris family
