Lorella and Randy’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.


Lorella and Randy were in a terrible car accident on September 15, 2022 on Hwy22.  Both were severely injured and life flighted to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland where they remain in critical condition.  Their injuries are extensive and recovery will be a long road.  We are overwhelmed with the enormity of the situation and also amazed by the outpouring of love, prayer and support of family, friends and strangers.   Randy and Lorella are loved by so many and we know everyone is concerned—we will try to keep everyone updated here as things progress.

Lorella was discharged yesterday!!!! She is in the care of her granddaughter Savanna and is in great hands.  We got her hospital bed and medical equipment set up and home health is coming in tomorrow.  Lorella is so grateful to be out of the hospital and her spirits are up. 

She will most likely need to go into rehab at some point, but we are still taking it day by day. She is such a fighter.
