*Update on Logan from Grace*

Logan's brain is showing signs of healing. He is starting to respond to commands, without much delay! Logan has been able to not only blow his nose but is able to let a nurse know that he needs to. He is still non verbal but was able to let a nurse know by making sniffing noises.
Since the accident, Logan has been so stubborn about oral care like getting his teeth brushed and will shut his mouth tight. But now he will open his mouth when ASK to! This for us is huge! We also notice Logan being more of a teaser.😆 I took the kids to visit Logan this week and he had his eyes shut, like he usually does. One of us stated that he might be asleep. He then started fake snoring! I started laughing and said, "Oh man, he's must really be sleeping good!" to which the kids laughed and chimed in with the joke. Logan smiled big when hearing the kids laugh and tease him back☺️.
He also played a prank on his grandma when she visited one day. She visited with Logan for a whole day and he slept the whole time she was there. She got worried and asked the nurse if Logan sleeping so long was normal. The nurse said that he just might be very tired that day. After the grandma left, the nurse went in to check on Logan and he opened his eyes. The nurse told me that she then put two and two together and asked him, "Logan? Were you faking this whole time?!". He then looked at the nurse and gave her a huge smile!😂 She laughed and told Logan he shouldn't scare his grandma like that.
Therapy has started trying to work with him in regards to responding to commands.
We are enjoying these reports and are praying for more! Thank you for your continued prayers 💙
