Newest Update

Journal entry by Lori-Louise Hubbard

I created this page last July, and all y'all have been extraordinarily supportive.  Thank you.

The last time I posted here, no notification was sent, so I stopped posting.  I don't know what I used up, but so it goes.

Anyway, now I have GOOD NEWS!!

On Tuesday, I had a diagnostic mammogram of my OTHER breast, which is apparently standard at this point, not because there was any indication of anything going awry.

The radiologist says there is NO CHANGE from the mammogram a year ago when all the kerfuffle was happening with my right breast!  Hooray for UNREMARKABLE FINDINGS!!!!

Thank you for all the cards and notes and stickers and gifts and meals and financial support.  My range of motion is nearly at prior level of function, and my energy is recovering.  I still have some issues, but they are MINOR compared to what was happening before.

I'm planning an online course for my next life phase, and then I can start serving as a Death Doula (because I really NEED an income!), and it's like everything in my life has led up to this.  Apparently there's an actual need for that right here in Whatcom County, so here's to finding the people who will benefit from my support!

I'm so grateful for all of you. God bless you all REAL GOOD.  God's got this; God's got ME!  🙏
