Unfortunately I need to let all of Liz's followers know that she passed away just before 1PM on Monday, June 10. I was with her and her breathing was very rough. I held her hand and told her that when she was ready to go, it was ok, that it would be hard, but we’d be alright. Almost immediately her breathing softened and slowed, and a few minutes later she was gone. I thought that only happened in stories...

 

Visitation will be Friday, June 14, from 4:30-6:30 at Washburn-McReavy's Glen Haven Chapel. 5125 West Broadway, Crystal, MN. A short memorial will follow at 6:30. 

 

In lieu of flowers Liz asked for donations to the Bitty Kitty Brigade (a Twin Cities kitten rescue) or Our Lady of Peace Hospice (where Liz spent her last few weeks).

 

Thank you to our friends and family for your support during these past 6 months. While I know we were all hoping for more time with Liz, I think we can all agree we're glad she isn't suffering anymore.
