Thank you for everyone who has been following Livi’s journey and all the prayers she’s received along the way. 

Today is Livi’s first birthday!! We can’t believe it’s been a year since we brought our one pound little girl into this world. While she’s been through so much in her first year of life, the best part has been watching all her highs. She now crawls, and pulls up on things. She’s getting so strong for being only 8 months adjusted age. She has 4 front teeth and is now eating homemade baby purées. She loves fruit, but hates vegetables. She’s 13 pounds and 2 ounces. Not quite on any growth chart yet but still making great strides for her own chart. 

For her first birthday party we had a ONEderland theme and enjoyed hot chocolate and new friends. We asked everyone to bring a donation for Children’s Mercy instead of gifts and our friends came with overwhelming amounts. On her birthday we loaded up all the donations and went to CMH’s NICU to deliver them and to visit all her old friends. 

We had lots of first birthday pictures taken to celebrate this milestone in her life. And wish we could post them all.
