Journal

It has officially been ONE YEAR since Lisa‘s original neuroendocrine cancer diagnosis.  While it’s impossible to put this past year into words we continue to be in awe of God and his miracles! Through every high and low he has been with us and given us peace amidst so many unknowns.

Over the past several months we have not given any new updates because Lisa‘s bloodwork and scans have looked great, therefore no news has been good news!

This said, we do have some new news and prayer requests we’d like to share at this time…

Lisa‘s most recent scan in August has revealed some slight growth to the lesions on her liver. The good news is Lisa still feels well, her original tumor inside her pancreas has remained stable & her blood work continues to look great! For these reasons her oncologist is not worried and considers Lisa to still be in partial remission and in stable condition. Thank you Jesus!

At this time Lisa will continue with her octreotide shots but she gets to stay off chemo, yey! Our prayer request is specifically that the liver lesions will STOP growing and even begin SHRINKING again! Together as a family we need energy, hope, peace, and grace that only comes from God!

Jesus we continue to need your strength & wisdom day in and day out!

Thank you to everyone for your continued support and ongoing prayers - WE FEEL THEM! GOD IS GREATER THAN CANCER!

1 Peter 1:5 - And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.
