Hey friends! 

I hope y’all are enjoying the summer weather - I certainly am! Thank you for your ongoing prayers and support. I am grateful to report that my hernia surgery recovery has gone really well and I am quickly regaining the strength that I lost while healing. God is kind! 

Unfortunately, I need to return to New York next month for another neurosurgery. A combination of medical events and underlying conditions has resulted in re-tethering of my spinal cord that requires surgical intervention. I am scheduled for surgery on June 25th. My neurosurgeon is hopeful that surgery will prevent further neurological deterioration and possibly help improve some of the symptoms that have progressed rapidly over the past 6 months. 

We would really appreciate prayers for no pre-operative issues, safe travels up north, a smooth surgery, and a speedy recovery without complications. Also, please pray that we would walk in the peace of Christ over the coming weeks and that we could share the hope and joy of Christ with all of the medical providers that I/we will be seeing in NY.
