9/11 will forever now have double meaning for our family.   It is the day we would learn of my Stage III cancer.    The outpouring of  love and support has led us here.  Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Hello, friends and family--Lisa's mom here,

Some of you know that Lisa had a big surgery scheduled for today.  The surgery did not happen.  Lisa is not ready.  Scary to have the surgery, and scary not to.

I do not know what the next step will be.
