I just wanted to give everyone an update on my care plan. My results have been viewed by cancer teams in Atlanta (Emory Cancer Center), Minnesota (Mayo Cancer Center), New York (Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center) and Wisconsin (UW Carbone Cancer Center). After a long wait and much deliberation, my team feels that chemo or radiation will not decrease the chances of cancer coming back! I am happy I don't have to go through all that additional treatment at this time. Observation and CAT scans are my future every three months for at least two years, and then every six months for the following 3 years. Keep praying that it does not come back!!! My goal is to learn to live in the moment!
