This was such a busy week up here in SC!  Jim and I drove up from Florida so that I could have my scan and visit with my doctor.  Of course seeing my family was a special highlight!  I was really apprehensive about this scan.  Why, I don't know.  Maybe because I am no longer in treatment and it kind of feels like that safety net isn't as strong.  Crazy....especially since my great doctor has assured me that he is there for anything I may need and will still be keeping an eye on me.   I have always had the feeling that this cancer will not take me yet...I just feel God has a few things left for me to do here;  And yet He just keeps blessing ME every day.  I have this beautiful life with a loving husband, three children,  six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, a loving sister and so many other wonderful family members and friends.    I am blessed.  Without  this support I could not have made it this far.

And so on Wednesday I got the scan results.....there is no evidence at this time of any cancer cells in the lungs!!!!!   Praise God for this wonderful news!!!!!!!!   I will continue to be monitored and will pray for the blessing of health.  So in 3 months a scan, another 3 months a scan, then 6 months and another 6 months and then eventually going to yearly scans !   It is the news we have prayed for and now I can continue to enjoy the life I have been given!  What a blessed life I am living!
