Thank you for visiting my site.   I am healing. 12/16/2021 BMT a success! I have completed the 100 days after transfer phase with many dos and don’ts (3/28/22)!!

Waiting to meet with Dr. for test results and next steps. I am doing exceptionally well and I am extremely blessed.

I was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) on January 2, 2020, and was in remission until June of 2021 and in remission once again the end of August 2021.  I am preparing  to have a BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) at the University of Minnesota.   

I AM deeply spiritual, caring, and generous. I AM a joyful giver and receiver. I AM open to the new life this experience has made possible, and the healing power of prayer, community and science!   I AM up for this next phase of my life’s learning and leaning into experiences and opportunities, especially, to help others as a result of my healing. 🙏♥️🚀

What a beautiful day!!   The snow is gently laying on the tree branches and the birds continue to delight me with their antics at my birdfeeders outside my office window, dispite the cold.   Life goes on and it appears that I am moving on with it♥️

I met with my Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Dr. for my one year… 365 days post BMT.  Can you believe it!!   We did it!!  I had my last bone marrow biopsy for a year on the 16th, I hope, and I am cancer free, no sign of the AML. I am eternally grateful for your generosity, time, unconditional love and prayers.   We made thr impossible possible with the help of science and medicine.   What a way to start the new year.   

I just finished a book group on the book The Four Agreements: 

1.  Be impeccable with your word.
2.  Don’t take things seriously.
3.  Don’t assume.
4.  Do the best you can.

My plan ….let’s be the best we can be in 2023!
