Lila continues to improve and therapy is going well. In fact, she's doing so well with balance and leg strength that official physical therapy will wrap up next week. She has handouts of the exercises so she can do them on her own. She still needs occupational therapy, which targets the upper body, since she still has pain and stiffness in her neck and shoulders. She still tires easily and has to pace herself when doing housework and cooking. She and Ben will be hosting our family Christmas get-together on Christmas Day, something I didn't see coming just a couple months ago. As a friend wrote in her Christmas card: "We definitely have miracles to celebrate; first, the birth of Jesus and 2nd, Lila's recovery." Amen!! We hope you all have a blessed Christmas.
