Jacob Leo’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place on Jacob’s progress. Our sweetest littlest guy was born earth side having many obstacles and struggles, his heart needing the most attention. He was born with 3 holes in his heart which allowed the oxygen rich blood on one side of his heart to flow through and mix with the de-oxygenated blood. His lil heart had to constantly work harder to keep the oxygen rich blood pumping out to the rest of his body. This added stress on his heart made it very hard for him to gain weight and eventually lead to CHF. He underwent open heart surgery 3/31 to repair these holes with the expectation of improving his heart function. We are so grateful for the love and support we have continually received from so many. So so many people from all over lifting Jacob and our family up in prayer, praying intently for specific intervention, so many holding us in heart and setting forth good intentions, sending their light, vibrations and healing , so many meditating deeply while directing their love and energy toward my family, others fasting and continually praying for success through each stage of Jacob’s journey and recovery. We are in awe, amazed and so incredibly grateful. We know we are loved and appreciate your words of hope and encouragement. We are truly blessed. So Much love to you all 💖

Jacob is on 1/8 liter of O2.,barely nothing. When it’s taken off his O2 sats dip a bit lower. Plan was to be discharged tomorrow 🙏🏻 Please pray he is able to maintain sufficient oxygen levels when we attempt removing it again. We can’t bring him home on the oxygen, as minimal of an amount that it is. I’m not really sure how we can be certain he will be good totally off except more time here . We want to be home this week 💖
