Libby’s Story

Site created on October 1, 2019

On Sunday, Sept. 22, Bob and I did our 32nd anniversary hike on Pleasant Mountain with our two happy dogs. Four days later, an oncologist confirmed that the lump in my abdomen was a cancerous tumor that needed to come out. Pronto. And thus begins my journey. Thank you for your outpouring of love; it continues to feed and sustain us.

Journal entry by Bob Moore

Greetings Friends of Libby,

Our family is happy to announce that, after a long year of waiting, we are finally able to host a celebration of Libby’s life. It will take place at 3:00 on Sunday, September 26th at the Mallett Barn on Wolfe’s Neck. We are eager to finally gather to celebrate Libby’s memory.

My purpose in posting this message on Libby’s Caring Bridge page is primarily to encourage you to save the date. And, if think you will be able to come, to please email me with “Celebrating Libby” in the subject line to:

bobmoore18@gmail.com

so that we can get a sense of how many chairs we’ll need and approximately how many we might have at the reception in the same space. An official announcement will be out shortly.

We are planning this as a celebration and hope you’ll bring your favorite stories and memories with you.

All the best, with love and gratitude from

Bob, Josephine, Nina and Willson
