Liam’s Story

Site created on November 16, 2019

Hi Everyone, thanks for visiting Liam’s CaringBridge site.

In October 2019, our sweet Liam was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bilateral Wilms Tumors. Since then, Liam has had 12 weeks of chemotherapy treatments and as of February 13th, has successfully undergone a partial nephrectomy.

Although the hardest part is behind us, Liam still has 25 weeks of chemotherapy to crush- as well as radiation treatments.

Please visit often as I will be updating as frequently as I can throughout the rest of his treatments. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. We are so lucky to have family and friends like you. ♥️♥️♥️

Newest Update

Journal entry by Laura Cappiello

Hi everyone! It’s been a little while, but I wanted to update with some news!

Liam had his scans this morning, chest x-ray (due to possible chemo side effects) and abdominal/adrenal ultrasound and we are very happy to report that his scans are CLEAR! 💙💪🏼 Our boy has been nothing short of a fighter and I couldn’t think of a braver boy to be a big brother to his new baby brother come April 2021. 🎉♥️

Thank you all for your continued love and support, it will always mean more to our little family than we could ever explain.

Love,
Laura
