Lexi’s Story

Site created on May 12, 2015

I was diagnosed with scoliosis at 10 and my curve was 28 degrees in my thoracic part of my spine. I had to get a brace right away. My curve kept progressing, but i went through 2 braces, but they didnt work well. I wore my brace for two years. And i have 3 curves, my cervical curve is 41 degrees, my thoracic curve is 57 degrees, and my lumbar curve is 22 degrees. My vbt surgery is on May 27 at Philadelphia Shriners Hospital for Children
