Journal entry by Chelsea and Jo Fesenbek

There’s now the possibility of Levi coming home in a few weeks as soon as he’s down to at least 12 hours on his dialysis cycler and when we feel comfortable operating his dialysis and feeding tube. While we are so excited to have the opportunity to all be together again and no longer have our son in the hospital we need to be moved into a new place beforehand because Levi can’t come back to the place we’re living currently. 4 people, a dialysis machine, all the equipment, and a months worth of medicine don’t exactly fit into a one bedroom. The clock is ticking and he stress of a continued separation from our son even out of the hospital is getting to us.
Levi’s health is doing so well, today he started practicing drinking from a bottle and he is doing so great at it. He is leaps and bounds ahead of what we ever hoped when he was born.
Benny has been allowed to give her brother some affection because of how well he’s been doing, she gives him kisses and holds his hand and rubs his head.
