Levi’s Story

Site created on December 5, 2023

Levi's journey started in mid October when he started to feel extremely bloated and "full." After a weekend with friends up north, he attributed this to just needing to get back to healthy eating and exercising. After a few days of feeling the same and a loss of appetite, Levi woke up and realized his skin was yellow.

Levi went to the Emergency Room where they did a blood and urine test followed by the doctors coming in to tell him they needed to do a CT scan on his abdomen. After a bit, the oncologist on staff came in and told Levi he has masses on his stomach, liver, and lungs and it's cancer.

A few hours later the doctors proceeded with a biopsy to confirm. The following night Levi got a phone call confirming that it was adenocarcinoma.

Doctors scheduled surgery for the following week to put two stints in his liver to help the bile drain.

He was referred to the oncology unit at the UW. Levi started partaking in various holistic therapies right away and researching his treatment options throughout the country.

Levi, Kevin, and Judy's effort to find care that aligned with his beliefs was extremely important, and we are amazed at their hard work to figure out exactly where he can receive the best possible care.. and that's with his current team in Clearwater, Florida.

Levi has started an extensive three month treatment journey.

We will continue to keep you updated through this site. Levi has access to this and can see all of your comments of positive encouragement as well! 🤍
