Hello to all and again, thank you for all of your prayers and support! Peter was able to come home last night, on his birthday! He has a long recovery ahead, but it's starting out well. So far, his new kidney is taking nicely. Because his kidney came from a deceased donor, it can take a short time to fully "wake up," as the surgeon puts it. Each day gets a bit better and things are definitely moving in the right direction. Peter is in some pain but managing it well. He is feeling very blessed to have received this gift and wants everyone to know how much he appreciates each and every one of you for your support and your prayers! We also ask that you remember the family that lost their loved one and in the midst of their grief, gave the gift of life to Peter and others.
