“Leslie Cooper-Dinsmore's family and friends are invited to attend visitation Thursday, September 15, from 4:00 to 7:00 and Friday, September 16, from 1:00 to 2:00 at the Harbor View Event Center, 130 Harbor View Dr, Washburn, Wisconsin. Following Friday's visitation, Leslie will be honored with a memorial service to remember "A Life Gratefully Lived."

Leslie passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, at the age of 41. She was surrounded by family and friends as she succumbed to the cancer she valiantly battled. She was born in Portage, Wisconsin, on April 20, 1981, to Daniel and Linda Cooper. Leslie married Ron Borchers in 2001 in Washburn, Wisconsin. They had three children together prior to divorcing. Leslie married Steven Dinsmore in 2014 and they had one child. Steve brought two adult children into the family as well.

Leslie was passionate about equality and opportunity for all people. Her personal hero was Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Leslie worked at NorthLakes Community Clinic serving in many capacities as she and the company grew. She loved her final position of Clinic Manager along with her coworkers and friends she made in the workplace.

Leslie loved the outdoors and the beauty of Lake Superior and especially the Apostle Islands. She enjoyed outdoor activities in every season. You could often find her gardening, boating, hiking, snowshoeing, and enjoying any kind of skiing. Leslie loved to share these things with others. Relationships were important to Leslie, and you often felt you were the center of attention when in her presence. She also loved to read and learn about the world through books and travel.

Leslie is survived by her husband Steven Dinsmore and children Mabel Cooper, Samuel Borchers, Sofia Borchers, Everett Dinsmore, Ashley (Dinsmore) Stalvig and husband Tim Stalvig, and Jacob Dinsmore. Leslie is beloved Amma to Henry and Hazel Stalvig. Leslie is also survived by her parents Dan and Linda (Pulver) Cooper, her sister Angela (Cooper) and Terry Otradovec, and sister Stephannie (Cooper) and Jeff Schmidt, and her brother Nathaniel Cooper. She is loved by many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. She will also be missed dearly by many friends, who were like family.”
