Six years ago I was diagnosed with DCIS. I had surgery at UCSF to remove all the cancer. In March of this year I discovered that the cancer had returned and was invasive.  This time UCSF removed two tumors and eight lymph nodes, two of which had cancer in them. After doing testing, my oncologist recommended chemotherapy this summer followed by additional surgery and radiation this fall.  I’m a little late on starting this blog, but I hope that it helps keep you informed and offers you encouragement as you pray for me through this journey. Nehemiah 8:10- “The Joy of the Lord is my strength!”
