Lenore’s Story

Lenore was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August 2017. After a tough and rigorous fight, she passed peacefully on July 1 2018. In between that time, she devoted all of it to family and friends: hanging out at the MN State Fair, Pumpkin Patch & Apple Orchard, Como flower conservatories and Japanese Gardens, and various authentic Vietnamese restaurants around the Twin Cities. Lenore loved gardening and cooking good food for others. 


Up until her hospital stay, she continued to go to work at the Minnesota Department of Health, where she enjoyed conversation and friendship with her coworkers.


Lenore's service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on Monday, July 9th at 6:30pm. (OSLChurch: 9185 Lexington Ave NE, Circle Pines MN 55014)
