Lee Ann’s Story

Site created on March 2, 2023

Hi everyone! We wanted to make this website for Lee Ann so that her friends and family everywhere can stay connected to her and support her throughout her journey. Lee Ann was diagnosed with gastric cancer this February and will need chemotherapy and surgery over the next few months. We will try to post updates on her as often as possible. We'd love for people to use this website to write her notes to remind her how strong and loved she is. Thank you for supporting Lee Ann and our family during this time. Lots of love!

Join us for a celebration of life in loving memory of LeeAnn Leshko-Lindsay. Please help us honor the memories and cherish the moments we shared together as we begin to collectively grieve the loss of her remarkable soul, who had a truly special gift for connecting with everyone and anyone. Be present with us as we keep her eternal flame alive, and show her how much her gift still means to so many in this world. Death ends a life but never our immense love, nor our enduring bond.

We ask that you reflect on some of your favorite memories with LeeAnn. Around 2 pm, we invite those who feel comfortable to share these stories with her friends and family. We also ask if you have any memorabilia or momentos that evoke her spirit to you, to bring them with you to add to our tribute table in her honor (anything you bring will return home with you). If you have photos or videos you'd like to contribute , please upload them to the link here to feature in our remembrance slideshow.

Around 3 pm, we invite you to partake in the opening of her memorial garden in our backyard, where we will have a symbolic "send off" together. If you would like to plant or add something to decorate her garden, you are welcome to add it during this time.

LeeAnn asked that you wear color, particularly purple was her favorite (casual attire). We'll have food, drinks, and entertainment- please RSVP with a rough estimate of how many people you'll bring so we can plan accordingly. Hopefully we’ll get nice weather and enjoy our backyard, so feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket with you If you have any questions or want to contribute to planning, please text Anna (240-439-9270)
