Lee Ann’s Story

Site created on January 30, 2023

Welcome to my Caring Bridge website.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.
Roughly a year ago I was Diagnosed with aggressive Metastatic Breast Cancer that has now spread to my bones, liver, brain, and lungs.
My treatment is challenging due to a mutant gene that I have. The gene has proven resistant to chemotherapy drugs.
As of January 2023, I am halfway through my 2 year prognosis.
Healthcare issues are difficult for independent people. This has been a journey I wish for no one to take, but thank goodness for loving family and friends.
Thank you for visiting my page.

Journal entry by Desiree Rowe

Yesterday we gathered in Mears Park to celebrate Lee!  We had a garden party with music, food, friends and family. Special thanks to the band Timeless for performing and The Bulldog for the delicious food and Pink Squirrels. Will post additional pictures in gallery.
