Newest Update

Journal entry by Tricia Anderson

okay here's an update: Apologies for the late update, every day has been just packed with appointments. Mom’s in remission! There’s still a long ways to go, though. In a couple weeks she’ll be admitted to the hospital and start chemo again in preparation for a bone marrow transplant. It’ll be a really aggressive chemo, so it’ll probably be a rough few of weeks. If everything goes to plan she’ll have the transplant towards the end of May. After the transplant we have to stay in the Rochester area for 100 days in case there’s a complication from transplant. It’s pretty much guaranteed that there will be at least mild complications from the transplant. As for now, mom’s doing great. She’s been out walking and enjoying the good weather when we have it. Some days she has 12 or 13 hours of appointments, but we just pack a lunch and make the most of it.

This weekend on Saturday May 18th we will be having one last fundraiser. The gun drawing will be at Pheasant Inn in Siren Wi at 7pm. You can get your tickets at Pheasant Inn, Pour House, Jed's, or the around-a-bout. There will be tickets for sale the day of the fundraiser at the Pheasant Inn only. Hope to see everyone there.
