Lisa’s Story

Site created on December 14, 2018

Our precious sister in Christ, Lisa Cargo, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer on December 11. She is having surgery Wednesday, December 19 and most likely will begin chemotherapy shortly there after. We are storming the gates of heaven on her behalf and laying down at the throne of the Mighty God to heal her body. We are grateful you are walking with her in prayer along this path.

Dearest Prayer Warriors,

Thank you for praying! My CA-125 cancer marker is still below 5, which is as low as can be detected!  It's hard to believe I'm coming up on a year since the end of my chemotherapy.  I am so thankful to be healing!  Thank you for praying me through another appointment.  It seems like no amount of convincing myself or ignoring my thoughts will keep the involuntary panic from seeping in when those appointments draw near.

I'm incredibly encouraged knowing you are walking along side me on this journey back to health. Thank you for your continuing prayers, friendship, and love.  May the Lord bring each of you and your families peace, also, during this unusual season.

Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow!

Love to each of you,
Lisa
