Laureen’s Story

Site created on December 6, 2022

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.
Diagnosed with Melanoma Cancer two years ago from a mole on my back (May 2020) two surgeries later, 18 treatments of 'Keytruda' an immunotherapy, then remission, it has come back with a vengeance. Now I have a tumor that is swelling and bleeding in my brain, seizures and a new mass in my lung. After being in the hospital and transition care off and on for the last few months we have a plan. I am filled with the faith and peace of our Father God.
After getting all the facts from a Neurologist and some heart felt conversations with my husband Dave our three kids and God our Savior we decided to have a surgical operation to remove the brain mass on Wednesday the 14th.
ALL YOU FAITHFULL PRAY- WARRIORS UP YOUR PRAYERS FOR ME!!
💕 you all, Laureen

Journal entry by Keith Shypulski

Join us for refreshments and appetizers at the Hugo Legion on Thursday from 4-8pm.

In lieu of flowers we would prefer a donation be made to the American Cancer Society. Visit www.cancer.org you can use the "Give in honor and Memorial" link at the top of the page if you would like to enter Laureen's name as the Honoree. (I have added the link in the "ways to help" section also.)

Please bring your happy stories and fond memories as Mom would like us to Celebrate her life!
